An initiative of the Wyoming Nonprofit Network, WyoGives is a statewide 24-hour online fundraising event designed to bring the Cowboy State together as one community to raise both funds and awareness for Wyoming’s nonprofits.
On July 10, the 5th annual WyoGives will take place with over 380 organizations participating. One can easily find an organization or organizations whose mission is important to them.
Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter Executive Director AJ Evans said the shelter will once again be participating in the WyoGives online event.

The shelter applies for a series of grants offered by the federal government to be used in shelters across the nation. The only hurdle is the limitations of items and services those funds can be used to purchase.
The funds raised through WyoGives and through the generosity of foundations allows Evans and her team to subsidize services and programs offered by the shelter to the Sheridan region and then utilize any remaining money as she deems necessary. One such program had been placed on hold due to lack of funding, but has now been activated again.
