Sheridan Commission Makes Appointments to Boards

Sheridan County’s Commissioners, during their last regular meeting, voted to make appointments to various county boards and commissions.

For the Historic Preservation Commission, the two applicants, Kevin Knapp and Christina Haworth, were approved.

Tobie Alsup was appointed to the Sheridan Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees.

Seven people applied for two positions on the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library Board, with Julie Weitz and Angela Knudson appointed by the commission.

The two applicants for the Sheridan County Parks and Recreation Board, Lynn Custis and Bill Heitler, were appointed.

Two applicants, John Seely and Mary Ann Bledsoe, were appointed to the Planning & Zoning Commission.

And the lone applicant, Jim Shellinger, was approved for the Sheridan Travel & Tourism Joint Powers Board.
