Work on Brooks Street on schedule

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan County Commission Chair Nick Siddle said the work on the Brooks Street Project is nearing completion.

The initial need for the project was more than just area beautification, but a matter of public safety. Work began in 2023 after the City of Sheridan agreed to abandon the street. The County took the opportunity to upgrade utilities located on the site and install a new back-up generator for the courthouse.

According to the Commission Chair, the finished area will contain sitting space and a gazebo.
