The Farmers & Artisan Market kicks off 2024 season on June 20

The Farmers & Artisan Market Manager Jesse Bennick and Executive Director of the North Main Association Nancy Drummond made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to announce the opening date of the Farmers & Artisan Market 2024.

The 2024 season begins 5-7 p.m. June 20, in conjunction with the first 3rd Thursday and will run every Thursday through Sept. 19, at The Whitney Commons. The market will not take place on July 4. 

Each Market will include activities and unique things for kids, chef demonstrations, food, and live music.

Bennick told listeners Whitney Commons is an ideal location to hold the market that has a little bit of something for everyone.

The North Main Association is currently looking for more vendors as well as food trucks to grow the market. Drummond and Bennick told listeners the market is a place for artists, food producers, jewelers, and many other types of craft creators to showcase their items and sell their wares.

Musical entertainment this year will include Ken Wacker, Drum and Bugle Corps, LJ Jazz with Jane Perkins, Knuckles, Alley Cats with Austin Taylor, Wolf Creek Revival, Chantelle Marie & Kids, and the Fire Ants. 

The Farmers & Artisan Market is presented thanks to North Main Association, Sheridan Media, Gregory Family, Cross E Dairy and Freedom Foods, Chase Construction, Holy Name, Du West, Pine Top Soda Shop, Alpha Graphics, Mirror Mirror, Weatherby, Nana Tina Marie, Born in a Barn, WLM Excavation, Core Physical Therapy, and MK Rentals.
