Aaron PalmerThe Sheridan County Commission has voted to approve a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for the proposed Rice Fiber Hub.
County Planner Mark Reid gave more details on the application during the commission’s last regular meeting.
The Planning & Zoning Commission voted 3-0 to recommend approval of the CUP with two recommendations concerning the building adhering to IBC codes; that the applicant obtain building permits for new structures or subsequent modifications to such; and the use of lighting that reduces glare to passing motorists or neighboring properties.
