City Works Discusses Construction Projects

Buffalo City Works Director Kevin Silbernagel, during his report to the city council at their meeting this week, updated them on various construction projects that are currently underway in the city.

He said the much anticipated WYDOT Main Street project has begun, and there won’t be major impacts to downtown and the rest of Main Street.

There will be some, with tree removal and other small projects being done, but it will be minimal this year.

Silbernagel also reported that the city is working on repairing the street in front of the entrance to the Buffalo Outdoor Pool.

He said city crews had also put up flower baskets and banners throughout Main Street to “pretty-up downtown.”
