2024 RWSC Scholarship Award

The Republican Women of Sheridan County awarded its 2024 scholarship to Easton Parker, daughter of Shane and Heidi Parker of Sheridan. Parker is a graduating senior at Sheridan High School. Easton plans to attend the University of Wyoming in the fall, majoring in Pre-med, aspiring to become an MD in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.  She has taken several AP classes and on-line classes through the university. This school year, Easton interned with the Welch Cancer Center and Sheridan Memorial Hospital. She is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and works part time at Greenhouse for Living.  She also works at Kendrick Park Ice Cream.

In high school, Easton served as varsity volleyball captain, a member of National Honor Society, Student Council and Sources of Strength.  She attended multiple School Board/Superintendent meetings and the Wyoming Association of Student Councils convention.  Easton came with high recommendations and is very interested in upholding her leadership skills in the political, medical, and cultural world.
