JCHC Clinic Manager Reports Walk-In Numbers Up

At the recent hospital board of trustees meeting at the Johnson County Healthcare Center, Clinic Manger Heidi Huntley gave the board updates on the clinic from the month of May.

Huntley said walk-in numbers are increasing.

Huntley also reported the clinic has another resident working with Dr. Darnell that is working with him in the E.R., clinic, and the hospital, which has been a help during the center’s recent busy streak.

Finally she said the clinic has implemented their “Point-of-Care” testing, which will be more useful during cold and flu season later this year.
