Update on Buffalo Rink Given to City Council

Edison Elder, with the Buffalo Community Rink organization, spoke to the Buffalo City Council during their last meeting to give an update on their summertime events and to ask the council for a sit-down discussion about a possible agreement between the city and the organization moving forward.

He talked about ball hockey.

Edison also asked the council for a meeting with city officials to discuss their organization and to try to draft an agreement so both the city and the rink are “on the same page” to continue to use the ice rink in Washington Park for the benefit of the community.

The council said they will work with him to find a time for the meeting.
