Helping the Hub

The Sheridan City Council will be considering a request from the Hub on Smith Monday night to help with their home delivered meals program. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
Three weeks ago, the Hub on Smith Street closed their doors temporarily due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This created an overwhelming demand on the Hub’s home delivered meals program that continues to operate seven days a week. Sheridan City Council President Rich Bridger says that the Council will be considering a request from the Hub Monday night.
Bridger explains how the process will unfold if the Council approves the funding request from the Hub.
Bridger said that the request, if approved, would most likely be funded with optional one-cent monies that are available. The funding request from the Hub will be considered by the Council at their regularly scheduled meeting Monday night. The meeting, due to CDC social distancing guidelines, will be held virtually.
