During the public announcement of Sergeant Nevada Krinkee’s Celebration of Life, Captain of the Sheridan Police Department, Tom Ringley, invited the community to line the procession route.
Capt. T. Ringley
A Celebration of Life with police honors will be held for Sgt. Krinkee at 1 p.m. Friday, March 1, at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome, located on the campus of Sheridan College.
The procession for Sgt. Krinkee will begin at 11th Street and Main Street at 12 p.m. It will proceed south, then onto Coffeen Avenue to the entrance of Sheridan College and the Golden Dome.
Sheridan’s Main Street from Dow Street to Burkitt Street will be closed from 4 a.m. until 1 p.m. SPD has advised the community that no parking will be permitted along the procession route during those times.
Attendance is expected to be high, which may cause parking and capacity issues in the Golden Dome. In conjunction with Sheridan College, Sheridan Media will provide a live stream of the services for those who cannot attend in person. The stream will go live at 12:20 p.m. on SheridanMedia.com.
Kane Funeral Home has also provided a list of local churches that will provide a live stream of the services for those who may wish to gather together in faith. Find that listing by clicking here.
A private interment with military honors will take place after the Celebration of Life at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery for Krinkee’s family and close friends.
