Part Of Main Street Will Be Closed Off For Sergeant Krinkee’s Procession

Update: On Friday, March 1st from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM all traffic traveling NORTHBOUND between US87 (Bighorn Y) and East Woodland Park Road will be detoured to WYO332 (Girls School Road).

This temporary detour is to accommodate the heavy traffic associated with Sgt. Krinkee’s funeral procession to Sheridan College.

Plan accordingly.

Southbound traffic on US87/Coffeen Avenue will be allowed to proceed south with caution.

Original Story: A Celebration of Life with police honors will be held for Sergeant Nevada Krinkee at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1st, at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome, located on the campus of Sheridan College.

A procession will begin at 11th and Main Street at 12:00 p.m., proceed south to Coffeen Avenue, then proceed on Coffeen Avenue to the entrance of Sheridan College and the
Golden Dome.

Main Street from Dow to Burkitt will be closed from 4 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Please be advised there will be no parking permitted along the procession route.

We expect attendance to be high, which may cause parking and capacity issues in the Golden Dome.

Our community members are encouraged to pay their respects by lining the procession route.

A private interment with military honors will take place after the Celebration of Life at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery for family and close friends.

Several churches and congregations will be broadcasting the services for Sgt. Krinkee.
