Special Meeting Scheduled on Red Grade Road Closure

The closure of Red Grade Road will be the topic of discussion at a special meeting scheduled for next week in Sheridan.

In a release from the Sheridan County Board of County Commissioners, they announced a special meeting to discuss the winter road closure on Red Grade Road to be held in the Second Floor Board Room #220 of the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition beginning at 5 p.m.

According to an earlier report on sheridanmedia.com, Red Grade Road in Sheridan County closes to all wheeled vehicle traffic on December 15 and remains closed until April 1 the following spring.

Traveling past the road closure sign in a wheeled vehicle while the closure is in place is a violation of state statute and violators may be subject to a $575 fine.
