Built in 1937 by Evelyn and Edward Moore, Kendrick Pool became a staple in summer-time activity to the Sheridan community.

Since that time the pool has seen a lot of activity and wear. The City has kept the pool operating well over the years with very little interruption to operations.

In the 2019 City of Sheridan Parks and Recreation Master Plan Update Community Survey – a survey taken by residents of the City of Sheridan – Kendrick Park Pool rated as one of the top priorities for investment for recreation facilities, as over 70% of the respondents to the survey reported they would like to see the pool renovated or rebuilt.

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, City of Sheridan Public Works Director Hanns Mercer said this project’s planning and execution took top priority after the adoption of the master plan.
