SCD and WLA to host landowners discussion panel
Sheridan County Conservation District Manager Carrie Rogaczewski and District board member and Western Landowners Alliance (WLA) member Jessica Western, appeared on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to announce an upcoming panel discussion and happy hour for Sheridan County’s landowners and producers.
Hosted by the WLA and the Sheridan County Conservation District, the event will feature leading experts, landowners and producers as they share insights on the many ecosystem services provided by private lands.
Western said she is a member and supports the WLA because it is composed of and supports landowners.

The event will be held in the Snowgoose Room at the Best Western from 5-7 p.m., Thursday Feb. 1.
Rogaczewski said some of the panel members will discuss the challenges and the needs of landowners to maintain and enhance working lands and stewardship activities.

Speakers will include, Chief Executive Officer of WLA, Lesli Allison; Executive Director of the Wyoming Wildlife and Natural Resource Trust, Bob Budd; Executive Director of the Sheridan Community Land Trust, Brad Bauer; local ranchers Dan Reinke and Doug Masters and Terrestrial Habitat Supervisor with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, Ian Tator.
