Compliance Checks for Spring Completed

The Sheridan Police Department recently conducted their latest round of alcohol compliance checks in the city. Sheridan Police Lt. Travis Koltiska laid out the results of the biannual effort.

Compliance checks are when a minor is selected to aid the department by attempting to buy alcohol at legal establishments. If they are asked for identification, they provide the server with their legitimate, state issued card. The subject that helps with the checks is financially compensated for their time.
