The Sheridan Memorial Hospital Foundation hosts their annual holiday breakfast in December to honor and celebrate employee partners for their contributions to the hospital’s Foundation. Each year during the event, the employee partners vote to fund a strategic project in the hospital’s area of greatest need with the monies accumulated over the past year. According to a media release from the SMH Foundation, in 2023, 478 employee partners participated in the philanthropic program and donated $47,806 through biweekly payroll deductions.

At the Annual Partner Celebration in December, employee partners voted to support the hospital’s Behavioral Health Campaign. Sheridan Memorial Hospital is developing a Crisis Stabilization Unit to create a separate physical environment to better address the behavioral and mental health needs of patients in crisis. The employee partner giving program began in 2004 and has steadily increased every year with new employees joining the team.  Over the past two decades, the program has contributed over half a million dollars towards patient care improvement projects at the hospital.
