Although the Buffalo City Council recently decided to not pursue a grant application to create an economic development plan which will help determine detailed housing needs to pursue attainable housing in the area, the person responsible for the push to do so is still seeking governmental assistance in working toward a solution.

Jerry Spiering presented an opportunity for a free two-day community planning workshop from the Wyoming Business Council (WBC) called Assessment to Action (A2A).

According to the WBC website, A2A introduces a process identifying problems and breaking down barriers obstructing a more resilient local economy. Collaboratively, (the idea is to test), adapt, and repeat the process to develop locally crafted solutions.

No action was taken by the council.
