Published

on

During the Buffalo City Council’s first meeting of the new year, they voted to designate the city’s depositories and asked the council members to fill out and return their Financial Disclosure Letters to City Clerk Julie Silbernagel.

According to the Wyoming Association of Municipalities website, public officers or public servants who invest funds for government, or who have authority to decide how public funds are invested must disclose benefit or interest in entity. Disclosures shall be made annually in a public meeting and shall be made part of the record of proceedings. Officials should not participate in any discussions that might affect their investment, even if they refrain from voting.

The council also approved the city’s depositories as ANB Bank, The Bank of Buffalo, First Interstate Bank of Commerce, First Northern Bank, WYO-STAR Investment Pool, Moreton Asset Management, Wyoming CLASS, and Peak Investments.
