JCHC Chief of Staff Talks Proposed Express Clinic

Johnson County Healthcare Center Chief-of-Staff Dr. Jennifer Rice, in her report to the hospital board, said the medical staff has been discussing the proposed express clinic the facility is working to provide in the near future.

The board asked if the name “Express Clinic” was set-in-stone, but CEO Luke Senden said the name is still open for suggestions and discussions.

The facility, according to discussions at the meeting, is looking at the beginning to middle of February for opening the proposed new clinic, after more of the current construction project is completed.

Senden said word is getting out about the new clinic and he has heard feedback that the community is excited about the new offering from the healthcare center.
