Ron RichterA trial date has been set in Fourth Judicial District Court for a woman who was allegedly selling drugs in the Sheridan area. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
According to court documents, in June of 2021, special agents with the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation learned that 25-year-old Katelynn Bulkley was a source of supply for cocaine in Sheridan. On May 17 and September 7 of this year, Bulkley allegedly sold Cocaine to a confidential informant during controlled buys that were part of an investigation by the Wyoming DCI Northeast Enforcement Team. Bulkley was arrested in mid September and charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance -cocaine, one count of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance – cocaine and three counts of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance for being in possession of marijuana, LSD and diazepam.
Bulkley, at an arraignment hearing Tuesday in District Court, pleaded not guilty to all six of the charges. District Court Judge Darci Phillips scheduled a three-day, #1 stack jury trial to begin April 1, 2024, and set a pretrial conference for February 29 at 9 am. If convicted on all counts, Bulkley faces up to 63 years in prison and fines of up to $78,000.
