Jo Co Comm Approves Accounting Service Contract

Johnson County’s Commissioners have voted to accept a contract to provide accounting services to the county.

Commissioner Bob Perry said the county received a limited number of proposals from potential accounting firms.

Pilch & Reed CPAs of Sheridan quoted a monthly fee of $2,150 but also with a not-to exceed amount of $3,000, with a rate of $95 per hour, according to discussions.

The contract was approved retroactively effective on November 1, 2023.
