SOS Condemns Court Filing Attempting to Remove Trump and Lummis from Future Ballots in Wyoming

Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray recently announced his plans to defend against a filing in Wyoming District Court seeking to remove Donald Trump and Cynthia Lummis from any future ballots in Wyoming.
Gray said they are preparing to file a motion to dismiss, to stop this attempt at election interference, and he remains committed to protecting the integrity of our elections and ensuring that the people of Wyoming can choose who to elect for themselves.

One day this silly trump syndrome will fade away, and so will he. As far as lummis…y’all asked for it…now how does crow taste?

Many Wyoming folks have an issue with lummis, just like we did with cubin. These corporate lapdogs do nothing for working folks and sane people know it.

It doesn’t matter who does or does not like a candidate. No one running for any office this coming year has been found guilty, or even been indicted, of insurrection by any court or prosecutor anywhere.
No news media or partisan opinion has any weight or bearing on these matters…and that is all this accusation of insurrection is. Insurrection is an actual federal crime, with an actual description and burden of proof. Even if someone does think that Trump did more than exercise his freedom of speech regarding the events of Jan 6, no prosecutor thought that the events of Jan 6 met the burden of proof for a charge of insurrection for anyone.
This is nothing more than a tyrannical coup attempt by Democrats to take over the government by setting a precedent that grants partisans the power to decide who appears on ballots. It ridiculous, and when they get the chance I expect the U.S. Supreme Court to slap this down unanimously.
