Sheridan Commission Accepts Homeland Security Grant

During their recent meeting, Sheridan County’s Commissioners considered accepting a grant from the Wyoming State Office of Homeland Security for equipment to be installed at the County Fairgrounds.

County Emergency Management Coordinator Jesse Ludikuize explained what the $70,000 grant will be used or.

According to discussions, there will be no local match requirement, as long as the cost does not exceed $70,000.

Ludikuize was asked if the generator can only be used during emergency situations.

The commission voted to accept the Homeland Security Grant.
