Building Inspector Talks Code Books, Contractors, Leaves

Buffalo Building Inspector Terry Asay, in his report to the city council at their last meeting, said the International Code Council has issued the latest code books, which he will be ordering and reviewing.

Asay also reported that with the end of year approaching his office will be mailing reminders to contractors to renew their licenses for 2024.

He said he had received a request from the city’s public works department to remind the public of some city codes that have been overlooked.

Mayor Shane Schrader reminded the public to familiarize themselves with city codes on snow removal policies for the upcoming winter months so they know what can and can’t be done with snow from their properties.
