The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce will celebrate Chamber of Commerce Day.
Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Officer Dixie Jonhson stopped by Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to discuss the nationally recognized day.
Johnson confessed that often, she and the staff have to be reminded to stop for a moment and recognize the activities, events and hard work the chamber has accomplished. She told listeners that she initially believed this would be just another nationally recognized day marked on the calendar, until she did some homework.

Johnson said the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce is almost as old as the original U.S. chapter and has a lot to be proud of in its lifetime, which spans over a century.

According to Johnson, the best way to observe Chamber of Commerce Day is to head downtown and support local businesses as well as look for opportunities to volunteer in the Sheridan community with an organization that aligns with your own personal beliefs and values.
