Public Health Offering Flu Clinic, POD Event Friday

This Friday, October 13, Johnson County Public Health will be having a Mass Flu Clinic and Point of Dispensing (POD) event at Bomber Mountain Civic Center.

The public can get their annual flu shot and/or volunteer for the POD event.

Public Health Nurse Manager Kristin Friedrich talks more about the event.

The POD event will be happening Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. with the clinic happening from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center.

Walk-in flu shots are available and covered by most insurance, or the cost is just $20 per vaccine.

Volunteers are still being accepted for the POD event, according to Friedrich.
