City of Buffalo Gives Costs for Private Water, Sewer Line Replacement

As part of the upcoming 2024 Buffalo Main Street project, property owners can opt to replace their aging water and sewer lines from the street to their homes or businesses at a savings.

City Building Inspector Terry Asay discussed the costs with the city council during their recent meeting.

Asay said the cost savings comes from not being charged for the repair of a street cut to replace the services as well as getting a better price from the contractor due to the volume of work they will get from multiple replacements of the services.
