Hospital Board Gets Chief of Staff Report on Healthcare Center

Johnson County Healthcare Center Chief of Staff Dr. Jennifer Rice updated the hospital board on happenings at the facility during their recent regular meeting.

Dr. Rice said it has been busy during the last month, and they have seen an uptick in COVID cases during thattime and will be keeping a close eye on the situation.

She talked about the upcoming Women’s Breast Health events.

Rice said previous events have been successful in finding cancer in patients, which is the reason for them.

The Ladies Night event will feature free breast cancer screenings, refreshments and a guest speaker and will be offered on Thursday, October 19 from 5 to 7 p.m.

The new event in Kaycee will be happening on Monday, October 23.
