SherCoComm to Consider Airport Leases at Tuesday Meeting

Sheridan County’s Commissioners will consider two airport leases during their regular meeting Tuesday.

The first is a supplemental agreement between the county and the United States of America Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to extend the lease for the FAA garage site.

The second is a lease agreement between the county and the United States of America for space for an antenna and equipment.

Also on the agenda is consideration f a proposal to split the cost of annexing 6 islands within the City of Sheridan. The cost, to be split 50/50, is roughly $25,000.

The commission will also consider the purchase of a 2024 Toyota Tundra pickup with a topper for a total cost of $50,000 for use by the county coroner’s office.

The meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday morning in Room #220 in the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition, and it is open to the public.
