Sheridan Commission Supports SCLT Grant Application

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have approved sending a Letter of Support for the Sheridan Community Land Trust in their application for the T-Mobile Hometown Grant proposal.
County Administrative Director Cameron Duff explained further.
According to discussions at the meeting, the grant money will be put into the Land Trust’s General Fund to fund further construction of trails in the Red Grade System.
The $50,000 in grant funding will supplement the nearly $99,000 trail project.
When asked where the nearly $49,000 in additional funding would come from, SCLT Recreation Program Manager Jared Koenig said most of their matching funds come from individual donors, which is where they would seek those funds.
