Buffalo Council OK’s Mayor’s Appointment, Councilman Absence

During their regular meeting this week the Buffalo City Council approved an appointment and an absence by a council member.

Mayor Shane Schrader had made the recommendation to appoint Karen Buffington to a two-year term on the Buffalo Tree Board.

Also approved was the absence of Councilman Scott Madsen from the September 5 meeting.

Vice-mayor John Camino, in the announcements portion of the agenda, said the next meeting of the planning & zoning board would be Tuesday, September 26 at 1 p.m.

The next department head meeting will be October 3 at 7 a.m.

The city/county meeting is scheduled for October 17 at 7 a.m.

And the city council meetings for October will be on the 3 and 17 at 5 p.m.

All of the meetings will take place in City Hall.
