Sheridan Commission Ratifies Final Acceptance for 2023 CMAQ

Sheridan County’s Commissioners, in their Consent Agenda, ratified the Final Acceptance Certificate for the county’s Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) project for 2023.

According t the certificate, the project amount was just under $314,000 with a 20% local match.

In December of 2022 the county was awarded just over $250,000 in federal funds for the program, with the local match of nearly $63,000 to total roughly $314,000 for the 2023 CMAQ program.

According to earlier reports from County Engineer Ken Muller, the program was to treat about 75 miles of county roads with chemical dust suppressants through the program.
