The Sheridan Sundowner Lions Club conducts vision screenings, equipping hospitals and clinics, distributing medicine and raising awareness of eye disease, Lions work toward their mission of providing vision for all. They have extended this commitment to sight conservation through countless local efforts and through our international SightFirst Program, which works to eradicate blindness.

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan Sundowner Lions Club members Bill Rathburn, Jim Rapp and Gale Vanderpool told listeners about the upcoming fundraiser, The Mane Event Gravel Grinder, a rider’s choice race of 25, 50 or 80 miles traversed mostly on gravel roads.

Rathburn informed potential riders on how they can sign-up for the challenge.
