Jo Co Comm Lifts Hiring Freeze for Library

Johnson County’s Commissioners have voted to allow the lifting of the hiring freeze for the County Library to hire a replacement for an employee that has resigned.

Library Director Lindsey Belliveau spoke to the commission at their meeting Tuesday and explained the situation.

Commission Chairman Bill Novotny said he understood the employee had moved out of the county and did not want to make the commute to Buffalo any longer, and Belliveau said yes, that was the case.
