Aaron PalmerAt their regular meeting this week, Johnson County’s Commissioners voted to extend the agreement and contract between the county and the Wyoming Department of Family Services for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Grant for an additional year.
County Commissioners’ Assistant Jody Telkamp, who oversees the program, explained why the agreement was being extended for an additional year.
The contract amount is for $61,000 again for the coming year.
The agreement and contract was reviewed by the county attorney’s office who had no issues with it and recommended approval.
