Sheridan Commission OK’s WIC Agreement

Sheridan County’s Commissioners approved a new agreement with the Wyoming Department of Health, Public Health Division’s WIC (Women, Infants, Children) program that extends it for a number of years.

Administrative Director Cameron Duff explained that the agreement will be in place from July 1, 2023 through December 31, 2028.

Duff said in the past the agreement has been for one year at a time, and this new agreement will be in place for five years.

Susan Terry explained more about the Sheridan County WIC Program.

The total payment to the county over the five-year agreement will be just under $405,000.
