Governor Gordon Issues Statement on State Legislators Who Attended CPAC

Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon has released a statement about members of the state legislature who attended the Conservative Political Action Conference where an attendee was subsequently diagnosed with coronavirus. Governor Gordon started out by saying that it does not appear that any members of the Wyoming legislature had contact with the infected individual at this time. The State Health Officer has identified these legislators as low risk however she advised that the individuals should continue to monitor their health closely.
Gordon went on to urge the citizens of the state to recognize that as the coronavirus becomes more widespread, it is likely that many will eventually cross paths with someone who is infected by the disease. In conclusion, the Governor said we should continue to follow recommendations from healthcare professionals, including regular and thorough hand washing.
