Soiree Raises 20K for St. Francis Shelter

Friday’s Speakeasy Soiree was a fundraising event for Buffalo’s St. Francis Animal Shelter, and featured two actors from the Longmire television series that were in attendance.
Adam Bartley, who played Deputy Sheriff Archie “The Ferg” Ferguson and Robert Taylor, who played Sheriff Walt Longmire performed, met with the crowd, and donated many collectible items from the show that brought in funds to benefit the shelter.
Jennifer McCormick, with the St. Francis Animal Shelter, said the event was well-attended and was a success.
The fundraiser featured dinner, drinks, silent and live auctions, and music provided by the Instigators.
According to a post on the shelter’s Facebook page Saturday, the event raised nearly $20,000 for the local, non-kill shelter.
