Northeast Wyoming Welcome Center in Beulah – Open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily
Gateway Travel Center in Newcastle at the corner of highways 85 and 16 – Open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily
Game and Fish advise the Lake DeSmet and Keyhole Reservoir check station hours of operation vary; call the Sheridan Regional Office for specific information. Keyhole typically operates seven days a week and DeSmet Thursday through Sunday.
Watercraft inspections outside of these hours can be performed at other locations. Find locations here.
All watercraft entering Wyoming must be inspected prior to launching on any Wyoming water between March 1 and Nov. 30.
Any watercraft that has been in a water infested with zebra/quagga mussels within the last 30 days, is required to undergo a mandatory inspection by an authorized inspector prior to launching during all months of the year.
Boaters must stop at any open AIS check station they pass when traveling with their watercraft.
Game and Fish also advises, check stations perform watercraft inspections but do not sell AIS decals. Those can be purchased at license selling agents, at a regional office or through the Game and Fish website by clicking here.
