Sheridan County OKs Intent to Adopt Election Rules

Sheridan County’s Commissioners approved a Notice of Intent to Adopt Rules and Regulations Governing Elections during their regular Tuesday meeting.
The commission discussed the changes with Election Supervisor Brenda Kekich.
According to a release from the county, the purpose of the proposed rules change is to establish requirements for electronically filing election reports with the County Clerk.
Copies of the proposed rules are available from the Sheridan County Board of County Commissioners, and may also be viewed on the county website.
Written comments on the proposed rules may be submitted by the public to the Board of County Commissioners, 224 S. Main Street, Sheridan, WY 82801, or emailed to bocc@sheridancounty.com on or before Friday, April 17, 2020.
A public hearing to receive oral comments on the proposed rules will be held on April 21, 2020 at 9am.
The Board will consider adoption of the proposed rules at its regular meeting on April 21st at 9am.
