Buffalo Building Inspector Terry Asay, in his recent report to the city council, said city residents took advantage of the recent Free Landfill Days and collected a significant amount of trash and debris.

Asay also reported that he recommended approval of the water hookup outside of the city limits for the Love’s Truck Stop that is proposed to be built near the Highway 16 and Interstate 90 interchange east of town.

He said the city has funds available to contribute to a redundant looped water line from the existing city line near Deer Park Campground to the Love’s property.

Asay also recommended the council approve that the city contribute $15,000 toward repairs on the mural on the Margo’s Pottery Building.

He also shared building permit numbers.

Asay asked that residents that haven’t cut their grass to do so as citations would be issued if it is two feet tall or taller.
