JCTA Updates Council on Tourism Projects and Happenings

Jody Sauers, Johnson County Tourism Association Board President, spoke to the Buffalo City Council about the board’s plans, what they will be doing in the coming weeks, and how they will be presenting Buffalo and Johnson County for tourism.

Sauers said they have partnered to participate in what she called a Destination Optimization Program and explained what that is.

Sauers explained that she and other members of the tourism board will be traveling to Boise, Idaho for the International Roundup Tour Operators Convention to represent the area to international tour operators.

She also reported that the JCTA now has an office space located 5 North Lobban Avenue.
