Buffalo Chamber Building for Future

A release issued by the Wyoming State Chamber of Commerce earlier this month said the Buffalo Area Chamber of Commerce had some problems but were working to correct them and move forward.
The chamber issued a call for interested parties to step up and volunteer for the chamber board of directors and help get the organization restructured.
According to Ron Roman, spokesman for the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, there has been a good response from community members willing to step up and serve on the board.
Roman said although there seems to be a belief from some in the community that the chamber is “treading water,” that is not the case.
They may be on a dinghy but are headed toward shore, he said.
The chamber’s first event of the year is the Business Expo next month, and according to Roman it appears it will be very successful.
From there, the chamber will be moving on to their other normal commitments throughout the year.
