A joint arraignment hearing was held Thursday in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan for co-defendants charged with four felonies each. 32-year-old Stephen Hall and 29-year-old Thomas Hall both pleaded not guilty to the charges of conspiracy to commit theft, theft, conspiracy to commit unlawful use of a credit card and unlawful use of a credit card. The alleged crimes occurred between September, 2022 and December, 2022 when the two men were fraudulently using a line of credit at a business in Sheridan.

District Court Judge Darci Phillips set a four-day jury trial to begin on July 31 and scheduled a pretrial conference for July 6 at 10 am. Bond modification requests from both the defendants were denied by Judge Phillips and bond was continued under the same terms and conditions that were previously set forth in Circuit Court. If convicted on all counts, both Stephen and Thomas Hall face up to 40 years in prison and fines of up to $40,000.
