Whitney Center Jazz Orchestra Spring Concert

The Whitney Center Jazz Orchestra is the professional jazz orchestra in residence at the Whitney Center for the Arts at Sheridan College. 

Director of Jazz Studies at Sheridan College, Dr. Eric Richards, told listeners of Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, a little about this 19-member jazz ensemble which is comprised of the finest professional jazz musicians in the region.

Richards is the Musical Director of the orchestra and is also a composer-arranger and trombonist. Richard’s music for jazz orchestra is published worldwide and has been performed on six continents by professional and educational ensembles. He said he is excited to present this spring concert and the orchestra will perform some well known favorites. 

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 22, in Kinnison Hall at Whitney Center for the Arts.
