Buffalo Council OK’s Mayor’s Appointments

At their meeting Tuesday, Buffalo’s City Council considered and then approved the recommendations from Mayor Shane Schrader for appointments to various boards with city representative seats.

Schrader recommended Carolyn Kessler to serve an unexpired term on the Buffalo Housing Authority Board; Bettina Nimick to a four-year term on the 1% Optional Sales Tax Board; and Jennifer McCormick to serve an unexpired term on the Lodging Tax Board.

The council also passed Ordinance No. 1414 on third and final reading, annexing the Deer Park Addition into the City of Buffalo.

The Deer Park Addition is a private section of land located just north of Highway 16 east of Buffalo, off of Deer Park Road along Clear Creek.
