The Sheridan City Council will soon be considering a bid award for the design and inspection of the West 5th Street Bridge. During a recent City Council study session, City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer said the current bridge spanning Goose Creek was constructed in the late 1960s and deficiencies were identified with the bridge deck and surface in a WYDOT Inventory and Inspection Report from April 2022.
Staff is recommending the Council award the bid for the design and inspection to CDG Engineers for a base scope amount of $185,858.
