Johnson County Signs CMAQ Documents, Gets Update

A their last regular meeting, Johnson County’s Commissioners signed documents pertaining to the Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) program, one a Local Public Agency Right-of-Way and Utility Certification, and the other a Certification of Service Consultant Policy at the request of Road & Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer.

Pehringer said the process on the CMAQ program has become more detailed than in the past, and explained further.

Pehringer said the county’s bid documents are being reviewed in Cheyenne, and the hope is the bids will go out on schedule the first of April, so treatments of the roads can begin in early June, as it has traditionally.
