Originally from rural Montana, Dr. Erica Rinker has been practicing medicine since 2011.
After living in Buffalo for a year with her family, Rinker relocated to work at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital Primary Care practice in downtown Sheridan at 61 South Gould St.
While majoring in microbiology in college, Rinker was taking a Spanish language course and took advantage of an opportunity to travel abroad. The trip would change her life and give her a new appreciation for family medicine.
Rinker once described SMH as “big enough to offer great care, small enough to be a leader and participant in the community it serves.”
Viewing herself as the quarterback in the healthcare system, Rinker connects with patients and knows which providers to guide them to as needed throughout their lifetimes and healthcare journeys.
Rinker enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients, leading her to Family Medicine Primary Care. Rinker feels that developing relationships and trust is vital between a doctor and their patients.
